In March of 2019 I presented Creating Inclusive Digital Spaces Through Information Architecture at the Information Architecture Conference. This presentation was the result of research I had conducted to improve the IA for the National Center of Transgender Equality’s website.

In August of 2019 The Nonprofit Technology Enterprise Network (NTEN) published this article that took a deeper dive into my research on creating inclusive research practices and digital spaces.
Speaking: Genetics Beyond the binary: how to incorporate gender diversity into the concepts of genetics @ National society OF genetic counselors conference
In November of 2019 I had the honor of presenting as a part of the post-conference symposium Genetics Beyond the Binary alongside Kaitlyn Brown MS GSC, and Candice Metzler MSW CSW. Within this presentation I shared my findings from Creating Inclusive Digital Spaces Through IA to emphasize the importance of inclusive language, the impact it can have on the audience, and how it can be utilized in any field.
